2008 Nuits '1" by Domaince Prieure Roch

 CC: "The first ever wine of Prieure Roch I had was a GAMAY and it was MAGNIFICIENT... what about this Nuits "1"... biodynamic.. high-toned perfume, menthol (smell of an organic wine?), excellent ripe raspberry and cherry, smooth and mouth-filling, juicy acid and smart fruit, LIKE.." age would give this wine more life!

at the TING --- 亭 (part ONE)

making the 'ting ting' sound at the TING was very enchan-ting
who would've thought of constructing a TING at the back of their house?
my maniac friend did and guess what?! what a TING to ting ting some beautiful wines.

served with chargrilled BBQ lamb marinated with bordeaux red (that's what they are for haha), crispy baked potatoes and fresh salad topped with a secret garlic dressing.

2007 Chablis Premier Cru 'Vaillons' by Vincent Dauvissat

CC: "sitting gloriously golden yellow in the glass, the aroma of freshly picked citrus fruit and seashore minerals, pleasing acidty to welcome you, so elegant the acid softens your gum with good weight, excellent depth and lingering finish, and it's just the beginning to the night.. "

2009 Morey-St-Denis by Francois Parent

CC: "is that an avocado on the bottle? ohhh black truffles, which basically sums up this wine! it is as good as the [diamond of the kitchen], amazing energy from the pour, high-tone perfume of sweet red cherry raspberry, and there's no difference on the palete, if not better in many levels! properly structured, juicy, subtle power of a gevrey, soft touches of a chambolle, texture of silk, another wine optimsed to its full potential, perfect combination of excellent 09 grapes + human effort! supreme!!"

As titled! Alain Burguet has always been one of my favourite burgundy producers!
the consistency he gets in his wines, whether the vintage is good or bad, the wines always come out to be amongst the top, never fails to deliver the divine sensation of a holy drop!

2009 Gevrey Chambertin 'Mes Favorites' V.V. by Alain Burguet

CC: "the scent of ripe cherry fruit, sweet o sweet earth from the old vines, smooth like silk, explosion of ripe red fruit flavours satisfying every single taste bud! solid structure, balanced, tasted the 07 and 08 (and 96 maybe..), but this 09 is a step beyond the sky.."

2009 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru 'Les Champeaux' by Alain Burguet

CC: "mysterious wine with black labels and golden prints, this wine is special, tasting this after the above 'Mes Favourites' was always gonna be a hard act to allow, BOOM POW BANG WOW amazing! again one of those wine with perfect harmony! sweet ripe 09 fruit, high-toned and luring nose, smooth texture with top notch sweetness and that hint of dark earthiness, and the finish? long of course.. but I couldn't help to have a second taste of it already" superb!
